Potter around Old Portsmouth

While I was in Portsmouth I had a wander around an older part that I’d not been to before. Portsmouth is actually on an Island (Portsea Island), down in the south is Southsea, but just south of the current naval base is “Old Portsmouth”. It’s home to the garrison church I shared last time. From there I wandered north along the Battery Wall, then along the top of the old city wall, past Hotwalls beach to the Round Tower and then up Gunwharf Road. Past the ferry terminal for boats to the Isle of Wight, then finally up into the new part of Portsmouth where I started!

Chatter: For this series of posts I used the Canon EOS 30 with the Canon STM 40mm lens. I use this combo a lot! The film was, once again Foma 200, bulk loaded, although I’m nearing the end of this 30.5 meters already, especially with the help of this trip! Film developed at the kitchen sink in Barry Thornton’s (Metol) Two Bath developer, I’m liking the combination of the two! I give 5 mins on bath A and another 5 in B, the stop and fix in the usual way.
