Back in late spring I took my Hasselblad and tripod out for the day. I drove down to the small quaint village of Abbotsbury. All of the images in this post are made with the 80mm CFi lens – good old Zeiss! This roll was Kodak Portra 160. Developed by Analogue Wonderland and scanned at home. I’m rarely happy with the colour that I get, I’d like to have Negative Lab Pro, but that, as I understand it, is a plug in for Photoshop/Lightroom and I’m not paying a monthly subscription for that!

Is this the start of an A-Z? 😊 Incidentally, the developer of NLP was talking about a standalone version at one point – no idea if he has carried it through though but might be worth a search?

Hi Dave! Well it could be! I’ll do a post about it when I’m a few in! Things have faltered a bit since the start! Mainly it’s been so hot, everything is brown, so I’ve sat inside by the air con! Not quite true but it’s been one of my less productive summers for sure! NLP stand alone sounds good! I’ve looked at the “buy” page on the link you kindly sent and there is nothing there for a stand alone at present but I’ll keep my eye on that. Very interesting! I’ve also done a quick test in Gimp, that I am slowly going mad with trying to learn – again I’ll write about that too sometime soon! I think basically the more I read photography books and the more I sit in front of a PC the more I just want to print in a darkroom! I need to find an Alexa with a red light! 🙂 Cheers Andy
