Last night I watched the solar eclipse. From my location I believe we had a 93% cover. I didn’t really set out to make any photo’s but I took my digital along anyway. I held the solar glasses over the lens and made few snaps – just a record to say I was there really! I set the camera manually to 500th and f11 just to see what I got!

The field was as dry as a bone – we are now at about 2 months without a drop of rain. Just up the road the New Forest is on fire! While the traffic in that direction is absolutely horrendous, this side of it, it’s a little quieter. If anything, for me getting to work is a little clearer and easier. I find this heat exhausting, and so haven’t done too much photography recently. I did start a new little project that has been put on the backburner a little until things cool down, and “green up” a bit!
