Once upon a time when Agfa Vista was £1 a roll in Poundland, (in fact when anything was still £1 in Poundland – but don’t get me started on that!) and before the Pentax ME Super was serviced, I made a visit to the Swanage Steam Railway. Back then I was also into the idea of building a model railway – and it had occurred to me that the scene above would make a nice little N gauge layout. Well that era has passed and the layout never got made, but I did make reference photo’s.

I recently re-discovered these in my “archive” and thought – they’d make a good panorama. This is nothing new, in fact if you’ve been following this blog for a while you may remember this attempt in Norway! This time however in seconds I did a quick internet search and found an online facility Pano Stitch, up loaded the three images above and about 10 seconds later had produced the image below – magic!! If only everything like this was so simple online!!

It could still happen Andy, maybe it wasn’t the right time. But at least now you have your reference photos ready!

Hi Ian, well you never know – I may get old and decrepit to the point where I can sit at a bench but not much else – trouble is N gauge, is so small it was already an eyesight problem! Maybe just visit the real thing and enjoy the tea room I say!! – Cheers Andy
