Ever since I heard of the London Cable Car, I’ve fancied a ride on it. It wasn’t here on my visit to the Millennium Dome back in the day, the only time I’ve been since was to a concert at the 02, but there was no time for exploring the area then.
It’s 1km long cable rises to 90 meters above the Thames, and there are two stations. One just a stones throw from the Dome the other, known as the Royal Dock, actually on the north west corner of Royal Victoria Dock. The journey involves floating high over the Thames!

I’ve never been to the Docklands area of London. I think it might be worth a visit next time I get to go to the Big Smoke.
