Bournemouth Beach with the Va

Towards the pier

Having used my “new to me” Nikon F3 for most of my photography for February, I fancied a change/more of a challenge for March. A change of pace with the Rollei Va. I shot a couple of rolls, the first being some colour on Kodak Ektar 100. These were taken on Sunday last, and the weather was glorious!

Bay watch Bournemouth Style

Bournemouth has a population of about 183,000, so a fair size town. In the summer it’s packed with visitors and I tend to avoid it! This time of year, we “locals” can enjoy the beach, on the odd nice day – without the crowds.

Footprints

I believe it was Keats who wrote “leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs”, and I only (think) I remember that, as there used to be a little plaque in Bournemouth Gardens, used as a nice version of don’t litter and don’t walk on the grass!

Foam

The Va behaved perfectly, I wrote a bit more about the camera here if you fancy a read! Will post more soon – have a nice weekend all!

March 2022 !!
