I took a local walk around Longham Lakes recently. They are pretty well hidden, yet just off the A348. To make matters worse there is no public parking there, so the only real option is to walk the last distance along the busy main road. It’s a pity and not ideal, but ultimately worth it once there! The river Stour runs just 350 ft to the south, if there were a bridge over it at that point, it could, with the aid of footpaths be less than a mile link-walk to the Canford “Sang”, (I used a roll of Kodak Pro Image 100 there) which does have a car park. We often talk about wildlife corridors, I think this is a missed opportunity for a “human” corridor!
The photo’s are all from the under-exposed, 28 year out-of-date roll of FP4 I mentioned a couple of posts ago. Considering, I’m pleased with the results. The camera was a Rollei SL35E SLR with the 50mm lens.
