I had just developed a 120 film, it was hanging up to dry. I had wiped dry the tank and it’s bits – I usually leave them out to air dry further, especially the spool. I was pottering about putting other stuff away and noticed how the sun was casting interesting shadows. This year I’ve made a practice of keeping a roll of bulk loaded Foma 200 in the Olympus XA2 all the time, feeling no pressure to finish the roll, just take it with me where I go – if I make a photo that’s great, if not – so be it! As it was ready to go, I made two exposures, this is the second and the better.
Chatter: Olympus XA2 on it’s closest “portrait” focus setting, Foma 200, developed in Rodinal 1+100 for and hour, at an average of 20 degrees C.
