… more of a slightly wild (read can’t be bothered to weed too much), suburban back garden and I love it. I’ve got a little time off over easter and with perfect timing, as I was finishing work, I felt rough. I’ve been hot and sweaty followed by shivering, every bone ached, and to top it all I had a bad nights sleep. Feeling rather sorry for myself, today I sat in the chair that looks up the garden from the back of the house, the sun was pouring in, and I spent half an hour daydreaming, watching the birds, a squirrel, and the flowers sway in the gentle breeze. It cheered me up, and I mustered the energy to go get my Fuji X-T5 and the 60mm macro.

By the time I’d finished pottering in the sun, I felt considerably better and had a coffee. Sometimes a garden and/or photography is all you need to re-charge!
