A Photowalk

Nothing new to see here! Sometimes I like to just load up a roll of film, take the camera with me, wherever I’m going, and make a few photo’s here and there of what I like and catches my eye. This time I took with me my Spotmatic – I have two, the SP and the SPII, couldn’t tell you the difference off the top of my head, one of them I have to “keep my eye on” and click a few times now and then, apart from that, I just enjoy using them.

If I could go back in time and say one thing to my younger self, and I’ll limit myself to photography here (!) I’d say – “Buy a Spotmatic, FP4 and travel. Don’t be tempted by other cameras, formats, films, lenses – just go wear a Spotty out first, take risks but be sensible, there’ll be plenty of time later to settle down and become an old fart”.

…. I may have finally got a photo of “that sculpture” that I like!!

Chatter: Spotmatic SPII with Takumar 55mm f1.8 FP4 developed in FX55 10 mins at 20 degrees.
