We all like a photo of a door with peeling paint – this may be the ultimate! There is a preserved railway in Kent, the Kent & East Sussex Railway, that runs from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle. It’s a 10.5 mile ride on a good old steam train and makes for a great day out. I did this a few years back and at the Bodiam end of the line, in the sidings was a goods wagon awaiting restoration – I couldn’t resist!
