In London it’s possible to buy a rover ticket for unlimited travel on the tube for the day. It’s also possible to buy a similar ticket for the “Uber Boats” that travel up and down the Thames. I haven’t been on the Thames for decades, so decided to have a day out on the water! I purchased my ticket at the Embankment Pier and took a steady, scenic ride to Greenwich.

Once off the boat, I made a photo of the south entrance/exit to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel under the Thames which opened in 1902. Below is the Cutty Sark, a sailing clipper from China tea trade age. She was launched in 1869 so as such was one of the last built. She was also one of the fastest!

Above is the western side of the Old Naval Collage, with the duck fountain on the left. I wish I’d moved in closer to make another shot of the fountain, it’s slightly comical! The courtyard of the Old Greenwich Hospital, is a well known landmark, helped by it’s open view right down to the Thames.

Across the way and part of the same complex is the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul. The BBC had taken up residency inside, for an outside broadcast. I managed to make one image without a microphone or cable in it!

The Ilford Delta 400 behaved as expected but for some reason I’m sure that the grain on this roll was a little less. I developed it in the Rodinal 1+50 as before, perhaps my exposure was more accurate?
