Canary Wharf

On the last day of my London break, I took the Jubilee Line out to Canary Wharf. I remember back in the late 80’s, taking the then, new, Docklands Light Railway through the site on my way to Greenwich. The railway it’s self was only a year or two old at the time, and I sat in the front, with my VHS-C camcorder. If only I could find the tape!

This time no movie, but I did have my Canon EOS 30 loaded with a roll of Tri-X. I don’t remember using this film before. I may have, but I don’t think I have. I’ve already showed the photo’s that I made to finish off the roll here.

I was pleased with the results that I got. I liked the tonal range of the film, I like the lack of grain for a 400asa speed traditional film. I have more HP5 to use up, and I’ll see how I feel after that, but as I use relatively small amounts of fast film, I may just adopt Tri-X as my go to 400 film.

Chatter: Canon EOS 30, 40mm STM and Kodak Tri-X.
