35mm: North Bank

In my last but one post I shared some images I made whilst walking the south bank of the Thames. Same day, same roll of film. I crossed from the south bank to the north over Tower Bridge.

The weather was very changeable. One minute I sheltered under a tree for cover from a shower, the next it was sunny! 400asa was the ideal speed to cope with the variables.

In the image above I liked the juxtaposition of the old with the new, while the image below was made whilst I waited under a walkway for another shower to pass.

At this point the rain set in, and starting to feel I’d done enough walking for the day I made my way back to the hotel. That night I opted to eat in the hotel and had a rather nice Chicken Korma!

Chatter: Canon EOS 30 with 40mm STM. Ilford Delta 400, developed in Rodinal 1+50.
