I had a day in London at the start of September. I took my good old EOS30 with the 40mm STM lens with me. It’s become a bit of a “go to” these days. I have however been having a bit of a problem with it recently. This shot was the view from my seat having a bite to eat for lunch in Liverpool Street Station, London.

Eastway Brasserie is in what is billed as “Andaz London Liverpool Street – a Concept by Hyatt”, basically a restaurant! Maybe more interesting it’s on the original site of the first Bethlehem Hospital! A plaque commemorates this. Bethlehem Hospital, became the Hospital of Bethlem, which moved out to the Beckenham area of London and became Bedlam. A mental hospital, somewhat infamous and where we get the word “bedlam” from – it started here!

I had time for a couple more shots before I had to move on – but this won’t be the last post on London, – i’ll explain in a further post! The film was Ilford Delta 400 which I processed in Ilford ID11 1+1, 14 mins @ 21°c.

Great images, love the composition in the second shot.
