I made a post about my visit to Chester Zoo and the black and white photo’s I made there, you can re-visit that post here! This time it’s the turn of the colour! I shot a roll of Fuji 400 too. On the whole I like the black and white better.

I really like the photo of the hog. I’m not sure what it is exactly about the image that draws me to it, I suppose a mix of things. Great sharpness and lovely tones. There seems to be a nice vignette to the photo which also really works well. Great!

Hello Mike! Many thanks for your kind words. I’m not into too much photoshopping, in fact truth be told, I rather do none at all, but I do have to get rid of the odd dust mark, and even do the odd bit of dodge and burn here, but then that’s nothing I wouldn’t do in a darkroom too! Cheers Andy
