Liverpool Waterfront Colour Splash

As a bit of a break from my black and white exploits at Speke Hall, I thought today I’d share a handful of colour images taken on the Liverpool Waterfront. I had a roll of Kodak Colour plus in my Pentax ME Super. All of these photo’s were made with the 50mm SMC.

Above and below are of the “sculpture” outside Tate Liverpool. It is by Swiss-artist Ugo Rondinone. Apparently it’s known by the locals as “Liverpool Mountain”, and is the first public artwork by the artist in the UK, and is inspired by naturally occurring Hoodoos.

Below is an image taken from the land side of Albert Dock, it just caught my eye. As the guys in high-vis walked past I made an exposure quickly to catch the colour. I made another more considered image right after, but I think I prefer the first!
