I hadn’t heard that this parade was going to happen until about an hour before, when someone said to me “I suppose you’ll be at the parade with your camera?” “What Parade?” says I! Luckily I had my Pentax Spotmatic with me, and a roll of Ilford FP4, so I loaded it up and off I went! In the event the 50mm lens was perfect, the weather was a bit variable, even so I made all photo’s at 125th at f8. In retrospect I wish I’d gone for f5.6 but chose 250th instead. Sadly I didn’t have the time to visit the vehicles while they were stationary, but glad I got some photo’s to record the day!
