Welcome

Hello! Welcome to my new blog! Yes I realize I’m rather late to the party when it comes to blogging, I’ve been meaning to create one for ages to share my photographic exploits but never seem to have gotten around to it – now, finally I’ve made a start.

My name is Andy, and I’ve been making pictures since I was about 7, when I took over the family camera – an Ilford Sportsman 126. After years of practice, endless gear changing, drifting from stills to movies, then video, and now back to “proper” photography, I think, perhaps with age I’m settling… As with all photography it’s a bit pointless unless it’s shared, and this is my attempt to do just that.

This blog will be mostly film (analogue) photography based as that’s where my main interest lies, but no doubt the odd bit of digital will creep in here and there, as might the odd post about other things that interest me – campervans, travel, art, wine, and especially cheese and chocolate!

I thank you for taking the time and trouble to click onto this blog and read so far… I hope in the coming weeks/months/years (?) you will find it a worthwhile read – Andy.
