I haven’t made a “single photo” post for a while, so I thought I’d do one for all the wrong reasons! I should explain I have either a really, really bad cold or Flu. I feel completely worn out, and have one of those coughs that sounds like a man who’s been smoking for 50 years, but the cough doesn’t do anything except give me a headache! To add to the jollity I had a really bad and painful leg cramp this morning at 5am, and was found hopping around the kitchen. A family member helped by saying I sounded “like Phyliss from Coronation Street”, and that dear reader you will either get or not! You’ll have to be British, a certain age, i.e. approaching 60, and be the sort of person who came from a household where your nan insisted on watching it!
Anyway. So much for a short quick post! The above was taken in Christchurch back in the spring on my Zeiss folder, on Ilford Delta 100. The sheet of negatives would tell me what developer and a date, but to be honest, I can’t be bothered to dig it out!
Next post – normal service should be resumed!

Actually, I asked a similar question before and you were good enough to reply. Unfortunately it was quite a while back – and you are such a prolific poster it was probably many hundreds of posts ago and I can’t find you answer!
Basically, I have managed to overcome my ‘Photography block’ and shot some more film 🙂
I also have an embarringly large collection of films I’ve developed and never printed and many I have exposed but never developed – a wicked sin I intend to rectify over the next couple of days.
You seem to have an excellent workflow that is working for you. I would like to treat myself to a decent scanner and try the film > digital scan route, rather than traditional printing. It was the printing bottleneck that caused me to temporarily stop photographing, until I could catch up. I never did!
I thought you would be the man to ask for advice on scanners and scanning – have you any recommendations?
