Bristol Docks

After the roll of XP2 I used up in Bristol Cathedral I loaded in a roll of Kentmere 200 and wandered down to the docks. Kentmere 200 is a film that I’ve decided I like. Quality wise it seems to me, to fit in comfortably between Foma 200 and FP4. This roll I developed in D23, and I’m happy with the results but I think I can get better. I’ve decided, despite me saying I’d order no more film until my stash is used up, that I’ll get two or three rolls and try a couple of different developers. I’m curious to see if Rodinal stand development makes it shine, as it does with Foma 100, or if FX55 brings a bit more oomph to it.

There’s lots to see around the docks at Bristol, and the city in general, I am enjoying getting to know a bit better. Although I swore I’d drive there again – it’s a compact city, so walking around is ideal for photography and going in by train is a pleasure.
