Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy New Year everyone! May this coming year be good to us all, may it bring peace, calm and joy and may we all make a bit of progress to loving our fellow humans, our planet and ourselves a bit more!

It’s been a good year here on my little blog. Anything like this is always a question of “the more you put in the more you get out”. I’ve written 170 post this last year. Not one every other day, but pretty close. Not that I’ve ever said I have a schedule of one every two days, in fact this year I may try a few less but aim for better quality – who knows. I’m certainly going to reign back in camera and lens purchases this coming year. I have far too much of every thing! A very first world issue. As you can see below, I’ve made steady progress with growing the blog, the most popular countries to view has remained fairly constant.

I don’t really make New Years resolutions myself – I never keep them! I do however intend to really put some effort into a bit of a “Life Laundry” –

*I’ve done a pretty good job of using up my out-of-date film, this year I want to use up my collection of odd and random rolls. “At this moment” I intend to eventually settle on FP4, HP5 and perhaps some Ortho 80.

*An extension of the above is to use up my not so small stock of colour film with a couple of projects, and again “at this moment”, intend to shift more towards digital for colour work (of which I don’t do huge amount).

*I’m going to thin out my collection of cameras and lenses – I may buy one more camera I have my eye on – more about that if I do!

*I intend to do a bit more travelling and take a few more weekend breaks this year – a better work/life balance is required.

*A good sort out of paperwork, digital files, books, clothes, and other general crap I seem to be excellent at accumulating!

*Eat better – excecise (move) more.

All of this will of course be reflected in my mutterings here – you have been warned!
