Poole with the Nikon FE2

You may remember that I took my Nikon FE2 out a couple weeks ago and wrote about that here. I kept walking over the town bridge, and along the quay. Above is the view from the bridge, and below (left) part of it’s lifting mechanism.

This was a roll of HP5 that I developed in home made D23 – it’s a combination that I like, although I have yet to totally refine a developing time. This was spot on temperature (20°C), and I concentrated on the agitation – I gave it 12 minutes, which is too long. Next roll I’ll go for 10 minutes – I think that will be about right.

The summer tourist boats that ferry people over to Brownsea Island are now mothballed for the winter – having their deep clean, repaint, and minor repairs in order to be ready for next spring. There was that quiet – end of season feel.
