While out and about with the Pentax Z10, and taking my usual wander around Poole, the tide was abnormally low. This meant that I could get out further than usual and look back at the path. Above is the Powder House, as seen from the sea side! Built here in the 1750’s so ships could store their gunpowder here, before docking at the busy and built up harbour area, thus protecting the town. Not much of it remains, but apparently it just decayed peacefully and never did blow up!
