India: Memory Lane with FP4 #2

A while ago I shared a few photo’s made while I was in India. While there, I also went to Jaipur and to Benares (Varanasi) – the only place on the Ganges where the river turns so that one can view sunrise.

Of course one morning I awoke uncharacteristically early, set of in a mad taxi, and found myself on the river bank. I mostly used Fuji Sensia 100, but made a few images on FP4. I experienced many things while there, not least an open air cremation, a boat trip in a very flat wooden boat, a massage on one arm (!) and sacred cows. It was one of those mornings that happen sometimes while travelling, just magical. It’s clearly still in my memory all these years later. Another similar morning for me was watching the sunrise above Niagara Falls, but that’s another story.
