I find the grey and dullness of this time of the year a challenge mentally. I never used to even think about it when I was younger, but I would say that the last 5 years or so, I find it demotivating. When I’m at work I rise about 7am, and this morning it may as well have been in the middle of the night! The saving grace yesterday was the beautiful setting moon, as I was driving towards it.
Therefore, when we have a bright day with some blue sky, I feel a strong urge and need to get out and enjoy it. Last Thursday was such a day. In fact Wednesday we had a light dusting of snow again, and in some shady spots it lingered, but there was blue sky, sun, brightness, so I grabbed the 5D and had a walk around West Moors Country Park. Regular readers will recognise that there is nothing new here – It’s a walk where I often try out a film or a camera. So this time it was the turn of the 5D.
