Kodak have announced that there is yet another price increase coming our way – so if you feel like stocking up as an Christmas present to yourself – now would be a good time! Cut and paste……
………
Kodak ColorPlus 7.5% Increase
Kodak Gold 35mm 7 – 8% Increase
Kodak Gold 120 (5 Pack) 8.5% Increase
Kodal Ektar 135-36 5% Increase
Kodak Portra 160/400/800 5 – 8% Increase
Kodak Ektachrome 120 (5 Pack) 5% Increase
Kodak B&W TMX/TMY/TMZ 35mm 5% Increase
These are cost price increases to dealers, so will translate to a slightly higher increase to us customers. This is for the UK but I can only assume a similar increase will happen world wide? This along with Ilford increasing their prices at the start of this month, is almost becoming an un-welcome yearly post!! That said I’d still argue the case, that film is a great value product for the price!
I don’t have any other expensive habits, thankfully! At least Tri-X is supposedly coming down in price at the same time though.

Yes, I’ve got 15 rolls of 120 tri-X in the fridge from Analogue Wonderland while it was a slightly better price than it is now! 🙂 “Expensive” of course is relative, a 5×4 camera is a cheap accessory compared to a decent pottery kiln and have you seen the price for a glider!! Luckily the pricing for chocolate orange is stable – Cheers and best wishes – Andy

I think I still have a couple of boxes of 120 Tri-X from the same Analogue Wonderland deal. It’ll keep me going a little while longer, then I’ll probably go back to using tried and tested HP5+.
