Brewery Square

Towards the southern side of Dorchester is Brewery Square. It’s a modern development, but built on and in the disused industrial remains of a brewery of Eldridge Pope. They have their own page here for the history, just scroll about halfway down! A hospital drop off and collection meant I had an afternoon to wander around the town, where normally it’s a half hour dash at lunchtime. I explored with my Leica M4-P and the Zeiss 35mm attached.

I used a roll of my out dated FP4 Movie film stock. It was a dull day so I decided I shoot it at 200 asa and develop for longer. The trouble was that due to the gap between the two events, it was only as I was pouring in the fix that I remembered this. Consequentially the negs look a tiny bit thin, although not as much as a stop. They scanned fine however, to the point where I’m thinking that for scanning I may reduce my times a smidge.
