More Colour from Dawlish

For those of you who have not read my previous posts relating to my recent Devon trip. I took my Canon EOS30, with the 40mm STM lens attached for a walk around Dawlish Warren, down in sunny Devon (UK). I had the film (Fuji C200) lab developed but scanned the negs on my Epson V600 at home.

It was one of those days where the sun was out, and despite being towards the end of October, the weather was more like May! A beautiful day. Dawlish Warren is a nature reserve that sticks out into the River Exe Estuary, a sandy spit. It also has a lovely sandy beach, an amusement area, and a few kiosks. As it was near lunch I ordered a toasted cheese and ham sandwich, from the kiosk below. It took a painful amount of time to materialise, 20 minutes or more, to the point I was going to ask what the hell they were doing! In the end it was good and just about worth the long wait! Fast food it wasn’t!

Patience rewarded, I made my way along the promenade, and when that ran out, I went out into the dunes..

Chatter: Canon EOS 30, 40mm STM lens. Fuji C200, lab developed and home scanned.
