Nepal: More Black and White

Continuing on from my last post, here are a few more from my black and white images I made while in Nepal. The film was FP4+. Most of the photo’s here were made in Bhaktapur, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and although it’s the smallest city in Nepal it’s also the most densely populated!

Sadly after my visit an earthquake damaged some of the buildings. In 2020 there was a much worse quake that caused widespread damage. I was very very saddened to see the havoc caused. I believe the temple featured in this post collapsed, although I understand it has been reconstructed, with most of the original materials and is not only standing again, but better suited to survive further quakes.
