I shot two rolls of Kodak Gold on my visit to Kew Gardens, I could have easily used more! Towards the end of the day as the sun was staring to dip, I used the last exposure and rewound. Then as I started to walk back towards the entrance, out came the sun, the sky cleared, it was lovely. I only had one roll of Ilford Delta 400 left, so in it went.

The sun was shining on the back of the Palm House, so I walked around the other side. I decided that I’d put the orange filter on to darken the sky and make the light metal pattern stand out even more – it worked!

The last image is my favourite.
