I always enjoy wandering around Tate Modern, rarely do I made any images of the art, rather the building and people in it. The art also spurs me on – I think “I really must do….” although it never happens!

This visit coincided with an installation of film projection. A bit of a rarity these days. Mostly it’s digital projection, and that seems to have improved massively, very quickly!

The newer part of the building to be open to the public is known as the tanks. Named, as these were literally storage tanks for oil, when the place was a power station. This part of the complex is devoted to live performance, film and video.

I even had time for a self-portrait!
