A Question of Size

Having moved on from the St Pauls area, I carried on to the “City”. Most people think of London as being a huge metropolis, something just about contained by the circular M25. Most don’t know that the actual “City of London” (as opposed to Westminster or Chelsea or Hackney etc) is by far the smallest local authority and ceremonial county. The latter making it tiny compared to St Davids! However, I plodded on, and made a few more images – mostly of the newer buildings.

Amongst all the new shiny buildings, there can be some startlingly old ones tucked away. Simpsons Tavern is posted out on the main street, but the building itself is hidden up a tiny alley! It’s up for sale if your looking for a mid 1700’s tavern but in a central location! (38 1/2 Cornhill).
