A post or two ago I shared some photo’s of steam engines and the steam train I came across as I stumbled my way into the Ringwood carnival. Today I thought I’d share a few more, but this time mainly of people – with a couple of exceptions.

All of these were taken with an aged Panasonic FZ-62. It’s a camera that came out in 2012. It has a 16 mega pixel sensor combined with a 24X optical zoom – the top end is equivalent to 600mm in 35mm. I was surprised how good the images are. All in this post have edited to make smaller files for up-loading, had one level of sharpening, and some minor levels adjustment – that’s all.

The amazing thing is that after a very quick search on ebay, these cameras seem to sell for about £50 – £60! With a f2.8 lens that seems like a great bargain to me. I’m not saying I’m going to buy one, but if anyone is looking for such a camera, I would happily recommend it!
