Gardd Bodnant (Welsh)

From Bodnant Gardens looking towards Snowdonia National Park

Bodnant Garden covers about 80 acres, and contains an arboretum, formal gardens, meadows and even a mill. By the time I got there, I’d visited a cathedral, Llandudno, and Conwy Castle. So the first thing I needed was a coffee shop! As this is a National Trust property, that of course was no problem, and I can recommend both the cheese scones and the coffee!

Having left Conwy Castle with the film used in my F3, it was also a good time to load in the last roll of the day – Kodak Portra 400. A film I’ve not used before. To me the results look a little cold, but nothing that can’t be sorted in photoshop!

I had written a piece about the gardens creator and his history – but somehow WordPress seemed to have dumped it! So I will refer you to good old WiKi if you are interested to read further you can here!
