Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth

The Spinnaker Tower is a 170 metres (560 ft) tall landmark observation tower in Portsmouth, England. Its shape was chosen by Portsmouth residents from a selection of ideas, and is said to represent a Spinnaker sail, in full flow! The tower was opened on 18 October 2005, and at 560ft is about 2 1/2 times the height of Nelsons Column! As it turned out this was the last exposure I made on my Panasonic G6 before selling it on. It would have been taken with the kit lens (14-42mm). I rather like the abstract shapes it forms from looking up underneath!
